Festa Da Luz // AkaCorleone 2023

Since 2021, Portuguese artist AkaCorleone has been taking his “Temple of Light” project to several locations, using a variety of mediums. Following a series of exhibitions, presentations and public art interventions, including an installation at Festival Breve 2022 in Belo Horizonte, in 2023 the artist returned to this city for a special participation in the second edition of Festa da Luz. Taking over one of the city’s most iconic architectural landmarks – Viaduto Santa Tereza – he immersed the public in a large-scale and site-specific light installation.

This initiative was developed in line with the partnership that Underdogs has been establishing with PÚBLICA - Art Agency.
