OFICINA IMINENTE 2020

This year, Festival Iminente is back with a new format, devised to continue the creative legacy of the event, while adhering to the safety measures necessary to face the times we are living. Under the name Oficina Iminente, the programme includes workshops, talks and concerts, as well as a public art park curated by Underdogs.

Implemented into the Panorâmico de Monsanto, one of Lisbon’s most iconic spaces, this park is a gift to the city and will become a permanent feature of this unique setting. With original pieces by visual artists ±MaisMenos±, Add Fuel, AkaCorleone, Francisco Vidal, Gonçalo Mar, Halfstudio, Tamara Alves, and Wasted Rita, it will be comprised of large-scale sculptures, creating an impactful and immersive experience for visitors.

Additionally, and still in the scope of the Oficina Iminente programme, the artists ±MaisMenos±, Gonçalo Mar, Halfstudio, and Tamara Alves will develop public art pieces in other locations throughout the city.

Admission to the park will be free, and accessible once the Panorâmico de Monsanto is reopened to the public by the Lisbon Municipality.
