Emerging from Shepard Fairey’s ongoing use of universal symbols to communicate ideas of peace and social harmony, Geometric Dove (Black) places the familiar image of the dove within a carefully balanced geometric composition. Rather than confrontation, the work adopts a quieter visual language, using symmetry, colour, and repetition to evoke a sense of order and coexistence. 

Characteristic of Fairey’s practice, immediately recognisable imagery is distilled through the bold graphic language that has shaped his work across posters, prints, and public space. Here, geometry becomes more than a formal device, creating a structure within which difference can exist in balance. Translated onto tile, the composition acquires an additional sense of permanence and material presence, reinforcing the work’s simple but enduring proposition: the pursuit of peace and harmony. 

Emerging from Pedrita Studio’s ongoing exploration of material memory and the Portuguese tile as a visual language, 6 Leonar brings together two forms of reclaimed material. A cropped portrait sourced from an old photograph is reconstructed through ceramic fragments, each tile functioning as a pixel within the larger image. The title itself preserves a trace of the photograph’s original life, borrowing the name Leonar from the brand of photographic paper printed on its reverse.

Characteristic of Pedrita Studio’s practice, collection and recomposition become ways of giving existing materials new narratives. Despite its intimate scale, the work brings together a remarkable diversity of ceramic techniques, from discontinued Portuguese industrial trims to hand-glazed and hand-painted tiles and ceramic decals. As these fragments are selected from the studio’s evolving archive, every work in the edition is different. Moving between photography and ceramic, portraiture and abstraction, repetition and singularity, 6 Leonar gives both image and material a new life while preserving traces of where they came from.

Emerging from Miss Van’s ongoing exploration of femininity, sensuality, and emotional complexity, Lady with Poppies presents a figure suspended between strength and vulnerability. Surrounded by poppies and rendered through flowing lines, the portrait draws inspiration from vintage Art Nouveau lithographs, bringing their decorative elegance into dialogue with the mystery and intensity that define the artist’s visual universe.

Characteristic of Miss Van’s practice, female figures become spaces for exploring multiple and sometimes contradictory expressions of femininity. Sensuality, confidence, vulnerability, and introspection coexist, resisting a singular or idealised representation of the feminine. Blending the dreamlike with raw emotion, Lady with Poppies transforms the portrait into a psychological presence, where beauty and allure reveal something more complex, intimate, and elusive beneath the surface.
