In this special edition, Tristan Eaton fuses digital and screen printing to explore the tension between surface and depth, beauty and construction. Known for his layered approach, Eaton continues to blur the boundaries between fine art, pop culture, and street aesthetics. “Sous”captures the essence of his practice: bold, intricate, and unapologetically hybrid.

Emerging from Onun Trigueiros’ exploration of identity, memory, and the everyday realities that surround him, Pá Sempre draws on one of the defining elements of his visual language: the postage stamp. Rooted in old stamp collections, this format has become a framework through which Onun Trigueiros records the people, attitudes, and cultural references of his own time, while retaining the sense of nostalgia and timelessness that first attracted him to it.

Characteristic of Onun Trigueiros’ practice, painting, collage, and graphic language converge to transform contemporary figures into images that feel simultaneously immediate and preserved. Created in the context of Interferências at MAAT, the edition brings the visual culture of his surroundings into dialogue with an object belonging increasingly to another era. Balancing personal experience with collective memory, Pá Sempre reflects on representation as a way of giving permanence to people, gestures, and identities that might otherwise remain overlooked.

Emerging from the encounter between André Saraiva and JonOne, Throw Up brings together two artists whose practices were shaped by graffiti and by the fundamental act of leaving a signature in public space. JonOne’s name expands across the composition as one big throw-up, while André Saraiva’s iconic Mr. A appears at its centre, merging two immediately recognisable identities into a single image.

Characteristic of their respective practices, the signature becomes more than a mark of authorship, evolving into a visual language of its own. While JonOne has transformed the writing of his name into an expressive, often repetitive, gestural form, Saraiva developed his character, Mr. A as a drawn signature capable of communicating beyond words. In Throw Up, these two approaches overlap playfully and directly, celebrating graffiti’s ability to turn a name into an image, an identity, and a presence.
