In this Viewing Room, Underdogs presents Doors of Cairo by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils, a time-gated open edition, available for acquisition during a five-day period only, between December 17th to December 21st at 4pm (Lisbon time) The edition celebrates Vhils’ sculptural door installation for Forever Is Now in Cairo, installed at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza and composed of 65 salvaged doors that evoke personal and collective histories of endurance and memory.
Door of Cairo is a time-gated open edition, available for a limited 5-day period and 20 artist’s Proofs. Once the window closes, the editions will no longer be offered. Giclée print on Velvet 270 g/m² paper, measuring 40 × 90 cm. Each piece is signed and numbered by the artist.
