Liz Flores is a Chicago-based artist of Mexican and Cuban descent. Her work centers on the human figure, using movement, color, and abstraction to explore identity and emotion. Drawing inspiration from her Latina heritage, she creates vibrant compositions that celebrate cultural expression and the complexities of the human condition.
In San Miguel de Allende, Liz Flores reconnected with cultural heritage through architecture, color, and human presence. Inspired by her Latina roots and the expressive movement of figures, she translated these impressions into a vibrant composition. The print explores the female form as a vehicle for storytelling, merging gesture and pattern. Through bold hues and dynamic structure, the work reflects identity shaped by place, capturing the warmth and complexity of cultural return.
