Hope is the first-ever limited edition created by Dino D’Santiago, produced in the context of his debut solo exhibition, Portal do Retorno.
Developed in direct dialogue with the exhibition, this new edition expands on its central themes of memory, absence, and symbolic repair. Drawing from the visual language of the works presented at the gallery, the edition reflects on the transatlantic slave trade and the millions of African lives that were interrupted, erased, and denied ritual, mourning, and historical recognition.
Through a powerful graphic composition, Hope affirms presence where history once imposed silence, not as an illustration of trauma, but as a gesture of dignity, recognition, and return.
