Judith Supine’s work has always hovered between delirium and clarity, seduction and discomfort. Known for his surreal collages that splice together fragments of the body, pop cultural debris, and dreamlike imagery, he constructs figures that feel both grotesque and hypnotic. In recalling a fever dream in the jungles between Costa Rica and Panama—hallucinating from dysentery as a Blue Morpho butterfly followed him down a dirt road—Supine describes a moment of fragility that turned into revelation, an overwhelming sense that everything would be okay. This vision encapsulates the tension at the core of his practice: the collision of beauty and decay, hallucination and prophecy, the unconscious erupting into form.

Social Club Pink" depicts the romanticization of NYC and the effect of graffiti on the city and its commuters. Lady Pink pays tribute to the subway as both a lifeline of the city and a legendary canvas for generations of graffiti writers. An Ecuadorian American artist and a pioneer of the movement, she was one of the first women to rise in the male-dominated graffiti scene of the 1980s — and continues to imagine a city where art belongs to everyone.

Betweenevilandfun, Diogo Potes, a graphic designer and creative director based in Lisbon, creates monsters that don’t really want to scare. His figures live in an ambiguous space — chaotic, colourful, intense — where the grotesque is softened by vibrant palettes and a sense of humour. Influenced by punk rock and 1990s skateboard graphics, these creatures with bulging eyes and sharp teeth inherit the anarchic spirit of that era, yet reject the narrative of fear. The result is a playful and provocative visual tension — monstrous, but never hostile.
