David Bruce is a Belgian artist based in Liège who began his career in graffiti before expanding into studio painting and sculpture. His work combines pop-inspired imagery with bold graphic forms, often featuring playful motifs such as smiley faces, basketballs, and bananas. Bruce’s compositions balance humor with vibrant contemporary aesthetics.
In a snowy Swedish village, David Bruce embraced stillness and camaraderie. Removed from routine, he found inspiration in forest walks and shared conversations. The vast, silent landscape encouraged contemplation and simplicity. His print reflects this immensity through bold yet restrained imagery, capturing nature’s calm under winter light. The composition embodies recharged creativity, translating peaceful isolation into a graphic statement that celebrates both solitude and connection.
