The female graffiti artist Irene Avramelos, known in the streets as Eneri, works from pixação, the São Paulo urban writing practice that has become one of the city’s most powerful visual and political marks. Rooted in risk, visibility, and territorial presence, pixação is both writing and action - and in Eneri’s work, it becomes a declaration of love for the street. Her edition is grounded in lived experience, where the body is suspended, exposed, and placed in direct tension with the urban space. Over the photograph, pixação intersects with her own lettering, bringing the written phrase: “I risk my life for loving the street too much.”

The action involved physical risk as well as legal consequences, resulting in a vandalism charge, alongside other records under her civil name. Even so, as she states, “It is the need to express oneself, to feel alive, to paint an entire building even when such a space had never been granted to you before.”

Developed within the context of The Studio project at Underdogs Gallery, Nothing to Hide was hand-finished by Nuno Viegas during his residency.

Created alongside a new series of graphite and cyanotype works, the edition reflects the artist’s exploration of material transformation, controlled exposure, and gradual image construction. Extending this process into the risograph print, each edition was completed through the addition of a hand-applied golden crown.

Rooted in a practice informed by graffiti and its raw visual language, the work balances immediacy with precision, translating the tension between spontaneity and control into a single composition.

The Faroe Islands’ dramatic weather and remote landscapes humbled Anders Meisner. Surrounded by ocean and ever-changing skies, he felt the power of nature reshape his sense of scale. Waterfalls and pocket-sized mountains inspired a metaphor for carrying impressions long after travel ends. His print distills these rugged forms into simplified imagery, balancing humor and storytelling. It evokes both isolation and vitality, suggesting that nature’s force can be contained within memory, ready to be revisited long after leaving the islands.

In Gothenburg’s historic Landala Egnahem district, Martine Johanna discovered a preserved harmony between architecture and nature. Walking through snow-covered streets, she was drawn to the dark wooden houses and quiet winter light. The area’s timeless character inspired a merging of trees and structures within her composition. Her print evokes austere beauty through layered tones and careful detail, reflecting the stillness and mystery she experienced. The work becomes a symbolic dwelling—part shelter, part forest—capturing a fleeting sense of balance between human design and natural surroundings.
